Private Reference Service
Delaware County Busted Mugshots is privately owned and is not affiliated with any government body, sheriff, jail, corrections department, court, or law-enforcement agency. Neither the service nor its advertising or search partners provides a consumer report, credit report, background report, or private-investigation service. The service is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA.
What the Service Provides
The service points visitors to records resources for Delaware County and New York. It stores no official jail, court, booking, or custody records. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a document with a public office. Outside search tools remain subject to their own terms.
Acceptable Use
Visitors must use the service lawfully and respectfully.
- Do not violate a law or another person’s rights.
- Do not stalk, harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone.
- Do not use content for employment, housing, credit, insurance, tenant, licensing, government-program, or other FCRA-covered decisions.
- Do not attempt unauthorized access to the service or a linked resource.
- Do not use bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools without written permission.
- Do not disrupt the service or interfere with another visitor’s use.
FCRA-Prohibited Uses
The service and its partners are not consumer reporting agencies. They do not provide information for hiring, firing, tenant selection, creditworthiness, insurance premiums, permits, licensing, public-benefit eligibility, or any similar regulated purpose. By using the service, the visitor agrees not to use it for any purpose governed by the FCRA.
External Resources
Links may lead to public offices, jail rosters, court portals, corrections systems, legal resources, news sites, and outside search services. We do not control their content, data practices, accuracy, uptime, or terms. Visitors should review the destination’s rules before using it.
No Warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at a particular time. Public custody and court information can change quickly, and partner results may be incomplete.
Limits of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service and its owners, providers, and partners are not liable for losses or damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the service or a linked resource.
Indemnification
The visitor agrees to defend and hold harmless the service and its owners, providers, and partners from claims, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising from the visitor’s use of the service or violation of these terms.
Ownership
Site text, graphics, logos, layout, and code are owned by Delaware County Busted Mugshots or its content partners unless another owner is identified. They may not be copied, distributed, or modified without written permission, except where law allows.
Revisions and Access
We may revise these terms or discontinue, restrict, or revoke access at any time. A revised version applies when posted. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, technical issues, or changes to outside resources.
New York Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a term cannot be enforced, the remaining terms remain in effect.
